Lawn Mowing
Efficient and quality lawn mowing service. Includes edge trimming and leaf blowing for a tidy finish, and to provide definition to the space while controlling encroaching grass in unwanted areas.
Hedge Trimming
Topiary to larger hedges, regular trims and size reductions. Always with a focus on shaping plants correctly while leaving an aesthetically pleasing result. Ecological G&L also has teriary qualifications as a visual artist to fall back on for creative hedging or topiary work.
Native Gardens
Residential projects to larger scale revegetation and public spaces. Ecological G&L can plan, design, procure and install the softscape components of your garden using local native flora. Tertiary qualifications and experience in environmental science, and conservation and land management.
Regular Maintenance
Sometimes you just need a gardener to keep things in check throughout the year, and at Ecological G&L that is certainly a service we like to provide. This is usually carried out on a fortnightly or monthly schedule, and includes a range of services to keep your property looking how you like.
Clean ups
For when the sh*t has hit the fan and it needs a little extra TLC. Usually invlolves mowing, hard trimming of the lawn edges and pruning for access, followed by weed management, mulching and greenwaste removal. For the best results it is recommended to follow up with regular maintenance.

Who is Ecological Garden and Landscape?
Hello there!
I'm an environmental science, and conservation and land management graduate with a keen interest in botany and the natural world - specifically our local native flora and revegetation.
I am also a Fine Art graduate and amateur artist. I'm very conscious of visual appeal within the garden/landscape as well as managing plants for optimal health. I often refer to colour theory for softscaping plant selection, and approach shaping a new hedge like a sculpture (even if it's just a rectangle).
I started the business in 2019 when I realised I could combine my skillset and knowledge to provide a unique service.
The business ethos of Ecological Garden and Landscape is to firstly improve biodiversity, and manage invasive species all while enhancing the outdoor space for the client to enjoy. Secondly, it is about giving time back to those who can't always manage their gardens on their own, for whatever reasons that may be.
